How To Play
Setup
Singles:
Set boards 15’ apart from the front edges.
Toss 3 sacks per turn toward the designated board.
Sacks must be thrown from behind the center hole or behind the board.
Experts can move boards to 18’, beginners can adjust the distance.
Doubles:
Same rules as Singles.
Teams play from the same side, rotating turns between players from Team A and Team B until the game ends.
Gameplay
Singles:
Opponents scores points with provided pegs or sliders in the appropriate slots.
Pegs start in the “0” holes for frames 1-6.
The outer ring is worth 1 point, the inner ring is worth 2 points, and the bullseye is worth 3 points.
Bullseye closes any one of the 6 frames; all sections must be closed to win.
To win, the player must hit a bullseye after closing all sections.
Doubles:
Same rules as Singles.
Scoring
Singles:
Overtime: If both players close all 6 frames and are tossing for a bullseye to end the game, the opposing player gets 3 tosses.
If they hit a bullseye, it triggers “Sudden Death.”
Sudden Death: Players toss one sack per turn until a player tosses a bullseye to win.
First bullseye in Sudden Death wins the game.
Scoring: If a sack lands on a line, the opponent judges scoring based on the majority position in the recessed area.
If scoring cannot be determined, re-toss the sack.
"Dead sack" (hits the ground before the board) is not scored for that turn.
If a "dead sack" lands on the board, it must remain untouched until all 3 sacks are tossed.
If a sack bumps and moves another sack on the board, the final position is scored.
Instant Win - "The BRANDON Rule": Instant Win if a player tosses 3 bullseyes in a row.
Doubles:
Same rules as Singles.
History
Inspired by the need for more excitement during a camping trip in June 2020, Mike Lerner set out to enhance the traditional cornhole game. He knew he wanted similar gameplay but with added elements. Taking the tossing and board style of cornhole and adding in elements of darts, Lawnch was born.
Since the first prototype, Lerner has produced multiple variations as he has refined gameplay, durability, and the manufacturing process.
