TURTLE BALL
How To Play
Set-up
- Each player or team digs craters in the sand, creating spaces large enough to fit each of their six shells.
- Arrange the shells in a pyramid shape, positioning them 10 to 15 feet from the opponent.
- Smooth out the sand around the coconut shells to ensure they sit below the surface for optimal gameplay.
Gameplay
- Players or teams take turns trying to sink the balls into their opponent's shells.
- The objective is to flip the opponent's shells over after a successful throw.
- After landing a successful throw, the player flips the opponent's shell over to signify a scored point.
Scoring
- Points are scored by successfully sinking the balls into the opponent's shells and flipping them over.
- The game emphasizes the objective of flipping all opponent shells to win rather than accumulating a numerical score.
- The player or team that flips all of their opponent's shells first is declared the winner of Turtle Ball.
- Note: Turtle Ball relies on the tactile element of physically flipping shells rather than a numerical scoring system.
