TURTLE BALL
How To Play
Set-up
Each player or team digs craters in the sand, creating spaces large enough to fit each of their six shells.
Arrange the shells in a pyramid shape, positioning them 10 to 15 feet from the opponent.
Smooth out the sand around the coconut shells to ensure they sit below the surface for optimal gameplay.
Gameplay
Players or teams take turns trying to sink the balls into their opponent's shells.
The objective is to flip the opponent's shells over after a successful throw.
After landing a successful throw, the player flips the opponent's shell over to signify a scored point.
Scoring
Points are scored by successfully sinking the balls into the opponent's shells and flipping them over.
The game emphasizes the objective of flipping all opponent shells to win rather than accumulating a numerical score.
The player or team that flips all of their opponent's shells first is declared the winner of Turtle Ball.
Note: Turtle Ball relies on the tactile element of physically flipping shells rather than a numerical scoring system.
